Two Very Quick Observations February 2, 2010Posted by CapitalSpirit in Uncategorized.
First, Sunday’s Caps-Pens tilt is sold out. If you want to get in the building, you’re going to be on the secondary market, and as of last check, it’s going to set you back $90 plus to sit in the corner rafters, and that’s before you even throw in the fees. The highest price I saw on Ticket Exchange was somewhere north of $900. You read that right: NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS. There were a couple of spots available in my section, but the cheapest price was north of $200. And I sit UPSTAIRS. Caps-Pens is officially the hottest ticket in town.
While I’m at it, Crosby just scored his third hat trick of the season Monday night. Memo to Alex Ovechkin: you going to let Crosby outscore you like that?
