Now, to be fair, the Caps are horribly short on the blue line, Alexander Semin did not help matters by getting ejected, and some of the bounces just were not there tonight. (Mention the officials if you must.) But a five-game skid is a five-game skid, and corrective action needs to be taken forthwith.

Tomorrow night come the Broadway Blueshirts, never an easy out in their barn.
